Jaime E. Serrano, Jr. is the founding attorney of Serrano Law Group in Las Vegas, Nevada. He understands a client’s need for solutions oriented and practical legal counsel from a knowledgeable attorney. Jaime is an effective and down to earth communicator that prides himself on providing personalized attention which enables his clients to make the best decisions for themselves, their families or their business.
Prior to earning his Juris Doctor, Mr. Serrano was a business professional and senior executive with 15+ years of diverse domestic and international business experience in: consulting, manufacturing, real estate finance, software/IT consulting and consumer package goods/food. Jaime has always held an admiration and appreciation for the law. His genuine calling to become an attorney led to his current career and the founding of Serrano Law Group. Jaime brings his practical business experience and his extensive professional network to every client engagement.
After law school, Jaime served as a law clerk to various judges in the Civil & Family Divisions, and for the Probate Commissioner, in the Eighth Judicial District (Clark County) of Nevada. Thereafter, Jaime joined a start-up e-learning company as Executive Vice President, and later also as General Counsel. During law school, Jaime interned for the Los Angeles County D.A.’s Office and for a prominent bankruptcy judge in the District of Nevada. Jaime was also a legislative intern to the Nevada State Senate Majority Leader during the 2011 legislative session; he also lobbied on behalf of the Gaming Commission for a bill that successfully passed into law. Lastly, Jaime worked for NV Energy in the Government Affairs department during his last year of law school giving him valuable insight into federal, state, and local public utility regulation and government permitting processes.
Jaime was born and raised in Southern California to immigrant parents from Ecuador and Nicaragua. His personal interests outside of practicing law include: world travel, history, physical fitness, cooking, and working on his Alfa Romeo Spider.
Jaime Serrano, Jr. received his undergraduate degree in Political Science (International Relations emphasis) & Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and his Juris Doctor from the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
Jaime Serrano, Jr. is admitted to practice in all Nevada state courts and in the Federal District Court in Nevada.
Jaime Serrano, Jr. is also licensed to practice federal immigration law in all U.S. states and jurisdictions.
